Commented in 'Resident Evil' one of Netflix's worst rated shows ever
Well, tbh I hardly made it through the first half of episode one. And then lost interest in a major way. It's not even binge-worthy when being high on a pound of weed. It would be a waste of time and herbs.

Commented in Humans, one of the more hideous and terrifying species.
I agree...Yet many of our species are terrified of creatures that are mostly harmless and will kill them on sight. If we don't like a plant,it's called a "weed" and we destroy it. Any animal we don't approve of is a "pest" and it deserves the same horrific fate. Sometimes I hate humans. That being said, yeah,a sf universe like that I'd love to read.

Commented in Oakland will begin paying $500 to low-income families
Or deep rooted weed economics, sucking up resources from the "environment" is what they are good at.
-
Commented in Is Marijuana as Safe as We Think?
Probably for most of human history, but easily since the Stone Age and the end of the last Ice Age. Funny how we can forget things like that.
-
Commented in 'It hits you very quickly': Canada brews first cannabis beer
Peanut butter and chocolate go together great. Beer and weed might need to be kept separate.
-
Commented in All eyes on Canada as first G7 nation prepares to make marijuana legal
Pro-weed folks (who lean left) in jail can't vote so it helps the GOP, thus they will never be for it.
-
Commented in Smart weed-killing robots are here to disrupt the pesticide industry
This weed-killing AI robot uses 20 times less herbicide
Still pollutes the environment.

Commented in Weed Seems to Protect Your Liver From the Effects of Hard Drinking
Unpossible. Weed is a schedule 1 drug, no medical uses and a high potential for addiction. If there were any medical benefits, the government would have to have some reason for that scheduling.
Like, maybe revenue generation and the prison-industrial complex.

Commented in Police looking for 2 men who stole $1,500 worth of inventory from Frito Lay trucks
Didn't Cali just legalize recreational weed? There may be a connection to munchie thefts.
-
Commented in The woman who can't stop vomiting
My SIL is a nurse in Colorado. She says her ER is seeing this 5-10 times a week. People think because weed is used for chemo nausea that once this starts, smoking more will help. Just makes it worse, and the only "cure" is to stop smoking completely.

Commented in The woman who can't stop vomiting
Have to wonder if she is a heavy weed smoker.
-
Commented in Burning wood for power is ‘misguided’ say climate experts
It's like smoking weed to treat cancer. Is there anything long-chain carbon molecule carcinogens can't cure?
-
Commented in 11,341 abandoned rape kits identify 817 serial rapists in one Michigan county
It's just easier, and far more profitable, to take your car, your money, your house for that quarter-ounce of weed you were found with. Solving actual crimes is hard work, and there's no profit in it.
And DOD isn't going to give your department more MRAPs for solving rapes.

Commented in Beware of Weed-Infused Halloween Candy, Say N.J. Officials
It used to be razor blades. Now it's demon weed!
-
Commented in Gov. Bevin says he will not allow recreational marijuana to be legal in KY
Overdosing on weed. Now there's an experiment I'd like to participate in.
-
Commented in Jeff Sessions personally asked Congress to let him prosecute medical marijuana providers
What's this guy's continuous beef with weed?
-
Commented in Against Leaf Blowers
Add to that weed whackere.
-
Commented in Don't call Clinton a weak candidate: it took decades of scheming to beat her
Yes, I'm definitely getting out of Lake county. Lake county is a bastion of grape-growing rednecks in the middle of NorCal. These idiots think weed is the worst thing in the world, but by God, that wine is just awesome and has never caused harm to anybody or anything...because it's the Blood of Christ, by Gawd! It's like living in the South. I moved here from Virginia to get away from exactly the kind of people who live here.

Commented in Wells Fargo account scandal extends to small business - U.S. senator
They aren't pretending anything. Criminal activity by banks is perfectly acceptable to the DOJ. You'd better not fucking get caught with any weed, however. Smoking weed is a major bad nono because of the horrible consequences for society. Banks fucking people over? Meh, no problem. Just so long as they are creating jobs, they get a pass. What jobs? Shhhh, we don't talk about that. Just go with the flow.

Commented in Miami Police Want to Spend $100,000 on AR-15-Style Rifles
They need all that gear. To serve bench warrants for unpaid parking tickets. And maybe conduct a raid or two for a few grams of weed.

Commented in Ramen noodles 'are most valuable US prison commodity', study suggests
That is the scam that is run by Aramark and the local jails and prisons. All of the food they provide is past the expiration date, so Aramark is selling food to the jails that should be thrown away. When I was at Riverside (a private jail in Virginia) the Little Debbie Swiss Rolls were $1.25 each. Back then (2003) a box at the store was $.99 for 12 of them, but they also were still fresh. They also charge a premium for stamps, which I thought was a federal crime. Don't get me started on telephone calls. These people prey on the poorest and most disenfranchised people in our society because they know those people have no voice. Every one of the people involved in this scam, from the sheriffs to the politicians to the businesspeople need to be put in prison for the massive fraud they have perpetrated on the American public. I fucking hate these people because I experienced their vile nature first hand. I was there for weed, in case you are curious.

Commented in El Chapo and the Secret History of the Heroin Crisis
If you'd gone to the page for the snap, and then hit the downvote arrow, a reddish button would've shown up next to it. Hitting that 'Reason' button would've let you indicate that you'd downvoted it for being bullshit. If you had, then it might've made some small measure of sense to the person that posted it. Or to anyone that cared to check.
I mean, not in this case, because apparently you think cannabis itself has somehow been slighted because the writer used a given hook on this story. So you're rising to defend cannabis's honor against the, to you, unwarranted suggestion that drug cartels losing money on one vice might ever look to make it back on another. As if cannabis was being slandered in some way by the notion of profit seeking by criminal gangs in a prohibition economy. Because your downvote defends weed's good name, you figured, apparently. Hophead.
That's your opinion, but at least you had an opinion. However specious. if you'd given a reason for your downvote it would've conveyed something more than the unreasoning downvotes bought, paid for and seen here. Or did you spring for those out-of-pocket?

Commented in Hacker demonstrates how voting machines can be compromised
Oh geez. Sorry about that. It's that demon weed I had in high school!
-
Commented in DEA Eliminates 48-Year-Old Monopoly on Research-Grade Marijuana, Clearing Pathway for FDA Approval and Rescheduling
48 years and the rednecks in Mississippi haven't produced a single result that has caused the DEA to reexamine their position. Something stinks in Mississippi, and it ain't just the people. This entire thing is just bullshit and the people involved need to be fired from their jobs. WE KNOW THE TRUTH!!! We don't need the DEA or a university's help. They are so far behind the times that they still believe weed makes white women want to have sex with black men. Maybe Mississippi wasn't the best choice of a research university for a product that has racial overtones.

Commented in Newly developed 3-minute saliva test could help cops determine if you're driving while high
I will smoke a joint of the weed of your choice then take my Corvette onto a race track and smoke any cop that would care to take me on. They need an impairment test, not a use test.
