Mandated religion, your government telling you that you must believe not only in a God, but this one in particular. To not believe in said God is a criminal act.
Take a moment with that. Not believing in God makes you a criminal. Ok.
Now then, is there anything in human history, recent or past, that leads anyone to believe this is a good idea? Talk about moving backwards.

I was wondering what happened to Rachel, if she's back with her parents or still with the lawyer family or on her own. I added a link that has a bit more information, it was linked to in this story.

Scientists Warn We Are Approaching The Next Mass Extinction | IFLScience
The decline of various animal populations and species loss are occurring at alarming rates on Earth, contributing to the world’s sixth mass extinction. While these deadly events may ultimately pave way for the emergence of new species, Stanford scientists have warned that if this “defaunation” that we are currently experiencing continues, it will likely have serious downstream impacts on human health.

Oh my, doesn't even have the word 'cheese' in anywhere on the packaging. Pasteurized Process Topping sounds inedible and suspect. Let's read the ingredients;
GENERAL DESCRIPTION A non-melting Imitation Cheese that resembles a Natural Cheese in certain food applications
INGREDIENT STATEMENT Water, Food Starch, Partially Hydrongenated Soybean Oil, Whey, Salt, Casein and/or Caseinate, Sodium Phosphate, Sorbic Acid (as a preservative), Carrageen, Natural Flavor, Lactic Acid, Artificial Color, Powdered Cellulose to prevent caking"

Now if only it were as easy to capture human piranhas. Ceo's, politicians, that ilk, just plain ol' evil piranhas. Toss 'em in a bucket and call it a day.

I watched a show profiling Baidu owner Robin Li. He is quite intriguing, intelligent, ambitious, determined, and very very rich. He is savvy and knows exactly how to play to the Chinese Government and balance those needs with the needs of Baidus' users. The likes of Mark Zuckerburg, Larry Page, and Sergey Brin are out of their league with this guy, hence why Google ran out of China with their tail between their legs. I have no doubt anything Robin Li attempts will be a success. He is a boon for China. Not saying whether that is a good or bad thing, just acknowledging his role.

Thanks for reading it. I am currently going through exactly what this is talking about, and felt its random landing in my feed serendipitous enough to share with others who may also need to hear these words today.

Don’t be afraid to get back up
to try again, to love again, to live again, and to dream again. Don’t let a hard lesson harden your heart. Life’s best lessons are often learned at the worst times and from the worst mistakes. There will be times when it seems like everything that could possibly go wrong is going wrong. And you might feel like you will be stuck in this rut forever, but you won’t. When you feel like quitting, remember that sometimes things have to go very wrong before they can be right. Sometimes you have to go t

Some folks prefer being spoon-fed crap and lies rather than think for themselves. Pfft to critical thinking, just soooo much simpler that way, isn't it?

What I find sad is we live in a world where police expect 13 year old children to be pointing a real gun, and police react in retaliation - kill mode.
""By making toy guns more obvious to law enforcement, we can help families avoid the terrible grief of losing a child," he said." Maybe this solution is too obvious and simple, but how about don't shoot to kill?
Thank you /u/drunkenninja for posting a live link. I appreciate it :)

This part of the article: "In 2010 it was purchased for $4 billion in a leveraged buyout by 3G Capital, the Brazilian private equity firm that also owns H.J. Heinz with Berkshire Hathaway (BRK/A) and whose principals are among the controlling shareholders of Anheuser-Busch InBev (BUD)." explains this story about McDonalds no longer using Heinz ketchup because the contract went to Burger King. Of course the original article did mention the sale :"In February US investment star Warren Buffett’s Berkshire Hathaway together with Brazil’s 3G Capital took over Heinz in a $28 billion deal.", it doesn't mention how 3G also owns Burger King.

This article proves Glenn Beck is crazy. How can someone blatantly, erroneously, and egregiously slander someone, then sue when they get called out on it, and get away with it? Shameful. How is this right? Goodness me.

"But even though nutritionists say there's nothing wrong with Walmart sandwiches, Watson misses old fashioned ice cream that melts quickly out in the sun."
The article does not mention the fact not only do these ice cream sandwiches contain corn syrup they contain the dreaded high fructose corn syrup
ingredient list from Walmart web site:"Ice Cream (Milk, Cream, Buttermilk, Sugar, Whey, Corn Syrup, Contains 1% Or Less of Mono-And Diglycerides, Vanilla Extract, Guar Gum, Calcium Sulfate, Carob Bean Gum, Cellulose Gum, Carrageenan, Artificial Flavor, Annatto For Color), Wafers (Wheat Flour, Sugar, Soybean Oil, Palm Oil, Cocoa, Dextrose, Caramel Color, Corn Syrup, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Corn Flour, Food Starch-Modified, Salt Soy Lecithin, Baking Soda, Artificial Flavor)."
Those so-called nutritionists do not know what they are talking about if they say there's nothing wrong with a product containing high fructose corn syrup.
Worse.Additive.Ever. Please educate yourselves, read your labels, and for your health and future generations health, avoid this insidious, evil additive like the plague.

I agree with this part of the article:
"Kaskade spoke out on Twitter about the lawsuit, condemning Ultra for pursuing Phan for copyright infringement. "Copyright law is a dinosaur, ill-suited for the landscape of today’s media," he wrote. "We can’t love (& won’t buy) music we haven’t heard." If it's exposure artists are looking for, Phan's audience isn't a bad target. She boasts more than six million subscribers and videos that consistently crack a million views each."
That's exposure, free advertising, etc etc. I understand where the label is coming from, but we need to have a different mindset in this digital and instantly accessible climate. Companies need to start working with their customers not against them. The more I hear about these lawsuits the less music I buy. I simply can't justify supporting these companies and their heavy handed ways. These lawsuits are backfiring against them, I hope they realize that sooner rather than later.
