He shoots everything from a street-level perspective without cranes or drones and then, along with Schoener, he mounts and reconstructs the facades “in our own intensive process of composition” that allows for the viewer to appreciate all of the intricate details of the structures.
The lack of drones seems to be what they're emphasizing, and it does seem like he's being purposefully a little secretive about "our own intensive process of composition". Wondering if anyone had any ideas about how one would go about doing this?

Those are absolutely flawless, is there anything about how he manages to get such a perfectly flat 'facade' by only shooting from street level? Is it photo editing? Reconstruction?

The home of the space exploration roguelike prospector. Explore the wonders and horrors of a proceduraly generated universe. Get the latest version, or discuss the game in the forum. Can confirm how unbelievably addicting/playable this game is. Steep learning curve, but the minute that it clicks, it all becomes perfectly clear. I think. I've been playing this game a lot, and have yet to feel like I've truly succeeded, so there is that.
