either, for women they herald social awkwardness, new laws (why are my nipples illegal?), a whole new world of judgement, bad fitting clothes, trying to navigate previously easy platonic relationships with other men and women because say you have large boobs then every fucker notices and it's either staring or jealously. If you have small boobs no fucker notices and you're made fun of for looking like a boy by fellow women and men alike. PLus if you have really small boobs you attract the creepy oldies who might have a children fetish.

Aside from that if you have huge boobs and all the physical issues that comes with and you get a breast reduction you get nosy people who tell you variously "it's a waste" and "oh i see you have a boob job winkwink" (because people don't tend to check if you went up or down sizes when they notice the scar) and if you have small boobs and go up a size then there's all that too.

Then there's the wonderful world of breastfeeding and how actually hard and painful that can be not even before we get into the whole breast vs bottle sanctimonious cuntishness on both sides when really who gives a flying shit as long as the kid is fed and happy and looked after otherwise. Of all the useless nonsense for people to argue about they choose to get uppity about that. And even though it's all "breast is best" you're put down for doing it outside your home because god forbid you use that fatty lump of glands for what it was intended to do! "we don't want to see you whipping out your boobs for food! just for porn thanks!"

Breastfeeding has it's own whack of pain and misery both physical (blocked ducts, swollen glands, chapped nipples) and mental (latching issues are not fun btw, performance issues, pushy fucking nurses and people trying to "help")

As for men; You get to go through the same social awkwardness from the other side, are you supposed to worship these things? Ignore them? How do you talk to your female friends from school when they start popping these things out all over the place? they're fascinating and you're drawn to them do you think she'll be proud or embarrassed when she catches you looking? maybe she'll never speak to you again. maybe she'll think you're a creep. It's hard because women are all different and upbringing and attitudes to boobs are so mixed person to person. What if your friends think you're a creep if you're too interested, or gay if you're not. they're going to rib and make fun of you either way even if they're doing the same. but that's a macho bullshit thing that happens for everything. maybe you're used to it.

And then there's the inevitable "man boob" problem, just weight gain or the full on hormonal thing where you grow actual working breast tissue. Why aren't male boobs as awesome? Oh right because it's associated with negative stuff for men. ridiculous.

And on top of all that we can all get breast Cancer. whoot. so awesome. Lets have a party for our failing bodyparts. And fuck any woman who decides cutting off the useless tissue is better than dying because "oh what a waste" yup
