Well, I've never heard about it before today, but it sounds about right. I can do both this and this without any pain, though I have no intention of trying this. I'm also double jointed.
That said, I've never had any pain unless I push my fingers to the limit, never dislocated anything, etc. So maybe it's a mild version. Idk.
Well first of all I just want to mention I was attempting at humor (attempt as it apperntly didn't come across that way) and did not mean to antagonise you.
With that in mind I think you raised an interesting point that I would like to touch on, if you don't mind; "no one said anything about classes". While it is true you never used the word "class" you did, in a way, imply it. By saying that someone who did not originate from Reddit is a "True Snapzite" based solely on them not coming from Reddit at some point implies that opposite is true as well (that being from Reddit makes you an UnTrue Snapzite).
While I am certain that is not what you originally intended to convey, it is what was implied and what I was attempting to bring to your attention/"poke fun at" in a light hearted manner.
I'm very sorry, I honestly didn't realize what I said came off that way. I was just didn't want them to feel like "the new kid in school" because so many have come from Reddit. I wanted them to feel welcome. I'm truly sorry if it touched a sore spot for anyone.
Fear not, good sir(?), I bear thee no ill will as I am well assured that your sentiments were not malous born nor were they overtly offensive. I apologize for making such things appear to have a larger effect than would assume them to have.
Yeah, so 1) I just have the resting bitch face equivalent for typing as well as 2) I just kinda get tired of people complaining about "Redditors" (which you weren't trying to do, I think it struck a nerve) and 3) I like talking about things. Sorry.
my ex was the same way, I thought there was something seriously wrong with him but apparently he's not alone so now you have an ally in your war against cheese :).
I'm curious, would you mind giving some examples? I've always considered myself as detail oriented, but just wondering what kind of details you're referring to.
I find myself paying a lot of attention to my surroundings during commutes, I love the mechanics of things (just how everything 'invisible' operates and just a lot of stuff than can go unnoticed). I often like to fiddle with settings pages so I can get a jist of how things work so I can fix it later or change it. It's hard to think of examples but I just pay attention to small things and large patterns (like watching flocks of people in a courtyard). What about you?
Mechanics, now that's a word I can attest to describing my fascination with my surroundings. Like the miniature ecosystems of insects, the mechanics of chance during random events and the implausibility and minuscule odds of repeating them just like before. I tend to focus on people and how little effort it takes to be themselves while others try so hard to be different, to be someone else, someone they want to be. I enjoy the fact that every single item created by nature or by man has a purpose, the odd objects are the most fascinating because sometimes it's difficult to figure out where and why they are there. Ok, I think I'll stop now.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKA97VWmwtU amazing show for the smallest details ... I love this show it's called "Invisible Worlds" its on BBC with Richard Hammond hosting
a particular favorite of mine is watching the dust particles whisp through the air on a beam of sunlight... it makes me feel like I'm underwater to watch how they swim on the current of the air... kind of like watching the stream of smoke that happens after you blow out a match... swoon
it was an effort to promote discussion by showing people that they may think they are the only ones but there are a lot of us out there that are very similar. I was hoping some people would connect based on common things that they thought no one else in the world did. Also, it's nice to learn the uniqueness of our fellow Snapzites.
...isn't thrilled about driving. I'm in college, and I still don't have my license—and am dreading having to get one eventually. Everyone I know rushed to get theirs as soon as they were old enough. I'm too afraid of making one mistake and ruining my life, or someone else's.
Alternatively: I swear I'm the only one who likes grey, overcast mornings. All the artificial lighting casts an orange glow and long trails across the ground that stand out against the darker backdrop.
Don't worry some us are much older than you and still don't have their licenses. There is a certain freedom from responsibility that not having that card allows.
The people I know that play it the most complain about the game while their playing it. CoD is just one of those games that's in the "fun, but not really good" games. There are a ton of games that I enjoy playing, but really, they just aren't great games in and of themselves.
I still like it. I think every title I've played is better than the last one actually. I haven't played 1, 3, WaW or Ghosts though, so I guess there are some small exceptions(don't know the right word)
Oh, I may have misread your post. My apologies. I though you said you are the only person in the world who wasn't born to the people you consider your parents. I now understand your joke. Woosh
I was adopted at birth. I know a lot of adopted people consider their parents to be the ones who gave birth to them and those who adopted them to not be their parents. Since I was adopted at birth those who brought me home from the hospital may not have given birth to me but they clothed me, fed me, bathed me, and loved me. To me they are my parents and the people who contributed to my birth are strangers.
I also know that I am not unique in that regard either. All well.
It's really just simple. There's a simple but powerful command set, and it's easy to implement. Most of what I do it working with databases, and it's just plain fast. I write a lot of on-the-fly text file conversions, and I can write/implement them in an hour. My only languages prior are C++ and VB, so I probably don't know enough about "fun" languages to be able to recommend this to people.

...who can bend his index finger all the way back to touch the back of his hand.
And PLEASE don't try to prove me wrong and end up in the hospital.
I've known people who could do that. Double-jointed in the wrist or something, I guessed.
Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome?
Well, I've never heard about it before today, but it sounds about right. I can do both this and this without any pain, though I have no intention of trying this. I'm also double jointed.

I just made fists after looking at those picture.
I can too stop lying also can you bend your wrist all the way down? or can you make your thumb flat on your hand?
Thumb flat, yes. I'm not sure what you mean about the wrist.
I do that with my thumb! :D
ouch... does it hurt?
If I do it all the way back, then yes, it hurts a bit for a second or two. But I can hold it at 3/4 of the way without it hurting at all.
Didn't come to snapzu from reddit.
Out of curiosity, how did you find Snapzu?
I seen a link to a snapzu post posted on a forum and just got curious as to what it was.
The only real one here
I didn't either. Someone mentioned Snapzu a community I'm in, so I decided to check it out.
we should create a tribe in your honor for you are a True Snapzite
Ouch, today I find out I'm a second class Snapzite
no one said anything about classes... we're all awesome in our own way

no problem, and in answer to your question I'm a chick. ;)
I swear I'm the only person in the world who doesn't like cheese.
Put away the pitchforks, pizza doesn't count.
my ex was the same way, I thought there was something seriously wrong with him but apparently he's not alone so now you have an ally in your war against cheese :).
Is that why he's your ex?
lmao NO, not at all, in fact we are really good friends... we were just better friends than lovers :)
You're not the only one. I don't even like cheese on pizza.
Do you eat pizza at all? Can it even be considered pizza with no cheese? :P
Sometimes, when I can't help it. :) And yes, there are turkish pizzas, that have no cheese.
They look interesting! I would to try one.
Have you ever had tomato pie? They are a kind of biggish thing in Pennsylvania and they are really thick pizza type things with no cheese
Can't say that I have. I'll look it up. Not sure if it's a thing here in NL.
Who... Pays attention to all this detail I see in the world

Me too! I wonder why though.
my favorite thing to do is notice the details, especially light, color, textures, smells and sounds
knows how to drive
Yeah I said it
Relevant comic
Man, almost no one in the USA knows how to drive a manual these days. I almost see it as my duty to teach friends how.
I know people in their 30's who have never learned... you are not alone my dear friend :)
I know how to drive. I don't think I could win a formula race or do stunt driving, but I can get around without killing anyone or hitting anything.
I don't know how to drive..and not sure if I will ever learn. The roads seem a bit scary to me.
I swear I'm the only person in the world who is worried that threads similar to this one don't actually promote and form of discussion.

Not just mornings, I love gray overcast days. Clouds are nice. Sun too bright.
they also make for the best sunrises/ sunsets
Take comfort in the fact that there are others out there who absolutely despise driving but learned to do it anyway.
I am one of those people.

still enjoys Call of Duty. all I hear is people bitching about it, even the players.

BF4 all the way.
...was born to my parents.
Both together or either one?
Both together :)
I was adopted at birth, so there's at least two of us!
Which parents do you mean, then: genetic or the ones who adopted you?
Oh, I may have misread your post. My apologies. I though you said you are the only person in the world who wasn't born to the people you consider your parents. I now understand your joke. Woosh
Are you the only person in the world to be adopted by your parents? This way might your uniqueness lie :)
I was adopted at birth. I know a lot of adopted people consider their parents to be the ones who gave birth to them and those who adopted them to not be their parents. ...who enjoys writing code in MUMPS. I write in MUMPS for work, and I now think in it.
I'm curious, what do you like about it? I've only heard bad things.
