Commented in Freemp3cloud
I remember those times when I go around looking for youtube to mp3 converters. I'm a music lover myself and I barely function without music even if its just gaming or washing the dishes or even taking a shower lol. But mainly studying, currently I'm taking up a marketing course and SEO is one of my subject, I've been studying hard for an upcoming exam and my spotify is on like 24/7

Commented in 'Pokemon Go' creator returns to 'real world' recipe for NBA game
It's pretty incredible to think about how seven years ago, "Pokemon Go" completely captivated the world with its real-world gameplay. And now, the creators are gearing up to bring that same immersive experience to their new basketball game. While "Pokemon Go" had players exploring actual locations for virtual creatures, "NBA All-World" takes it to the streets, letting players challenge each other to games right out in the open. It's like a new level of real-world interaction in gaming. The idea of merging digital entertainment with the real environment is truly fascinating. Can't wait to see how "NBA All-World" brings the excitement of basketball to the streets!

Commented in Call of Duty: Warzone cheater stars in official anti-cheat ad, keeps on cheating anyway
Absolutely, it's quite unbelievable! Imagine a Call of Duty: Warzone player taking a lead role in an anti-cheat ad, and shockingly, they're still sticking to their cheating ways. It's almost like something out of a movie with an unexpected plot twist. You can also try some cheat console at cheatcommands for them. Despite getting attention for promoting fair play, they're not ready to quit their cheating tactics. The irony here is truly mind-boggling. It just goes to show how complex and intricate the gaming world can be, even when it comes to matters of ethics and fair competition.

No surprise as a new generation (and the existing ones) of gamers are starting to get their gaming wings. Both my pre-teen grandsons take their Switch's everywhere.

Commented in Gaming on Apple platforms is set for some big changes—here are a few
With the switch to ARM from Intel I imagine things are about to get worse for Apple and Gaming, at least on Macbooks and Towers and the removal of Bootcamp is a major fu to gamers that also wanted a Macbook. Things won't really change all that much on iPad and iOS devices because they were already made for those types of devices. I'm not really looking to play Android/iOS style games on my computer.
I sometimes wonder how much this change to arm is in response to hackintosh and not the bad chips intel was making.

Commented in WHO reverses stance on the harms of gaming during lockdowns
The surprise stems from the fact that the WHO had previously identified video game addiction as a mental health disorder on a par with gambling disorders.
The WHO never reversed their stance on video game addiction; they've simply recognized that gaming can have positive effects- particularly while people are stuck at home.

Commented in Coronavirus Is a Once in a Lifetime Chance to Reshape How We Travel
I think in the end this will be the ultimate test of how this pandemic will effect the group mentality. Will it be business as usual, or will there be long lasting, even gaming changing changes that will play out as a result.

Commented in With DaaS Windows coming, say goodbye to your PC as you know it
I've been playing a bit with Fedora in my spare time. Gaming is what worries me though. While Steam has some Linux support, it's not comprehensive.

Commented in Why Is There a ‘Gaming Disorder’ But No ‘Smartphone Disorder?’
A better question, why is GREED not considered a disorder? Greed is killing people and the environment. Gaming not so much.

Commented in Reddit — one of the world's most popular websites — is trying to cash in through advertising
What was long suspected — Reddit's pay-to-AMA, plus sundry and various other forms of payola — is now open knowledge. Adblockers aren't going to catch these schemes. Nor'll they out the paid product placement, the P.R. chief assistant sub-flunkies that astroturf any sub of any girth, or the curiously brand-specific product nostalgia testimonials in the middle of comment threads. Even gaming Reddit's been gamed. Please see the cashier on your way in and out.

Commented in Why Is There a ‘Gaming Disorder’ But No ‘Smartphone Disorder?’
A well-thought-out article asking why Gaming Disorder is not instead made into a general Over-use Disorder, which could apply to other things too, not just gaming. Some great food for thought here.

Gaming should be enjoyed by everyone and I’m glad Microsoft is not only making that happen, but they’re making it as open as possible so everyone can benefit.

Commented in Hackers have turned the Nintendo Switch into a functional Linux tablet
Interesting article. I use Linux myself (on a desktop computer, not on a Nintendo Switch!). I'm not exactly sure why anyone would WANT to turn a Nintendo Switch into a functional Linux tablet.... but it's certainly quite an accomplishment! Most gaming platforms make it difficult or almost impossible to mess with, so it's pretty interesting.

Commented in Hawaii introduces bills targeting loot boxes setting age requirement and odds
Same here...Yep,the gaming industry has sure gone downhill. This nonsense needs to be outlawed and no games that do this should be allowed to be sold anywhere. I don't know if WOW does this, but an x friend of mine got a divorce because her husband spent every moment he was not at work playing WOW. WOW was even more important than sex! She finally threw him out .

Commented in Hawaii introduces bills targeting loot boxes setting age requirement and odds
Loot boxes and microtransactions are ruining the gaming experience. I won't buy a game that has them.
Labeling the odds may make it actually possible to get that vorpal ray gun of infinite ammo or make more people realize that they are actually gambling real money for bytes on a server.

Commented in AMD Is Making a Really Great Case For Ditching Intel-based Computers
The biggest problem I have with Ryzen is that you can't run Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 on them, Microsoft will only allow new chips to run Windows 10. You might say use Linux and I do, but I also need access to gaming and Linux just isn't there yet.

Commented in The land of delicious chocolate (Belgium) moves to ban 'Star Wars Battlefront 2'-style loot boxes
Good for them. This sort of shit does not belong in gaming for children or adults in my way of thinking.
