Not falling for the attempts to divide people is the first thing that comes to mind. Politicians and warmongers thrive on that, it is the very reason they excist. How would I do that? By not not believing a word that comes from their mouths. Not even a syllable. And disprove all the claims those hateful people make, but also proof that "the other side" also thrives on the exact same division: it gives the opportunity to the opposite. That way it gives them a reason to excist also. From a politician's point of view there is a big need for all of this.

With demonstrations you won't get far, so it seems. How long were the strikes in France? They stopped right after the drama in Nice, wasn't it? And the attacks in Paris? Comes in pretty handy, not even two weeks before a big climateconference where they'd expect tens of thousands of protestors (and rioters). I am not saying the attacks are related to other events, not at all, but it gave politicians the opportunity to silence a big part of the people. Plus some very nice opportunities to blame whatever they did wrong themselves on everything else but themselves.

    Ahh, yeah. Counting money. :-)

That's what I keep repeating, division breeds autocrats and war. I did not see the start of WWII, but I lived the start of the Venezuelan disaster, and it all looks exactly the same. It's like people just don't get it. As long as we keep arguing with each other, the shadow of dictatorship and war keeps growing.

Divide and conquer... we're too busy with that, so we will never have the time/energy to fight the establishment.
