All the banter about who and or how it will be paid for.
It's necessary on so many levels. A solution to illegal migration, yes security, and a start to an end of all the problems and contentious dialogue about what to do with those already here, no longer interminable.
Edit: Build it, then send me and my family our bill, $120 paid gladly. I'll pay an additional $120 for another household unable to afford their bill.

What's the harm?
Those that see no basis to claims of voter fraud should be more willing to have substantive evidence to prove him the fool. The only objectors would be those that fear the contrary.

This article focuses on TANF a temporary program, that dictates a weaning of benefits.
Look to those programs that actually are indicative of Trump's claims, such as food stamps, mostly related to SNAP, housing assistance, child nutrition, head start, WIC, LIHEAP, lifeline, negative income tax, and relaxed eligibility as to SSI. These are Federal programs, more available at most state and local levels, not limited to basically free health care.
You may then have an informed discussion.

"And why wouldn't the left champion voter ID"
Because it would loose voters, as in illegal voters, as in voter fraud.
It has been exposed/documented in local elections. Never has a government investigation been done on the national level.
The only question to be answered by such an investigation is:.....how many?

A failed investigation, would do the contrary to your every point.
I am curious however what might constitute an affirmation of voter fraud, 3-5 million, 1-3 million, 1/2-1 million, 1/4-1/2 million, or less.

Good question.
My experience, of approx. three years here, is this site is held hostage by a handful of like minded superfluous submitters, thus "their community". Nuttin more, nuttin less.

One can read a story and actually bother to offer criticism based on facts therein, or dismiss it as trash outright. based on it's origin.
Your comment coming from one who swears by RollingStone, Mother Jones, Vox, and the like would be an example of nuttin more than,
hypocrisy.

"....suggests Trump might bring it back.."
Extraordinary rendition has been the practice prior to and including the Obama Admin. What's the difference if we as a nation outsource torture or do it ourselves? To send a prisoner of ours to a foreign facility and have foreign nationals do our dirty work and return him/her, isn't the same as sending out your laundry to have it cleaned.
While extraordinary rendition is still in effect, any denial/condemnation of torture by our government is truly B.S. and a sickening display of supreme hypocrisy.
