That is such a shame..I wish things were better for women.

I'm in IT, so we have our own little pantheon of goddesses, including
* Ada Lovelace, the first programmer, ever.
* Grace Hopper, the 'queen of code'. Accidentally invented the term 'bug'
*Hedy Lamaar Gorgeous lady who's spread-spectrum technology happens to be in the phone you use
*Margret Hamilton whose skills got us to the moon all while looking fetching standing next to source code
