Oh, Well I've never met a New Zealander, what's it like down there?
Beautiful country, lots of outdoorsy things to do. Just a little cold at the moment since it's the middle of winter.
Sounds heavenly right now - the beautiful country and winter! I'm in the Pacific Northwest (Washington state) and we are experiencing very, very, very hot and dry weather right now, ugh! New Zealand is at the top of my list of places I'd like to visit some day.
It's not the cheapest travel destination, but it's worth it; especially the South Island.
I'm one of the weird ones that actually prefers the cold weather, so I'm quite enjoying the cold snap we're experiencing at the moment :)
I got married off the coast and spent my honeymoon there. Absolutely loved it!
I also live in New Zealand, originally from Georgia though! Aucklander reporting in! ;-)

Hey there! Weather can't make it's mind up here in the Midlands - Rain then heavy rain then sunshine and now I've got sunshine and a nice strong wind, which looks to be bringing more rain. Got to love this English weather!

I was born in Almaty, Kazakhstan and lived there for the first few years of my life. That's where my family's from. We're Russian, and when my father's father enlisted in the military, my family was relocated from St. Petersburg to Kazakhstan, back when it was all still the U.S.S.R.
My father won the green card lottery, so my family immigrated to the United States. Now we live in Washington state in the Greater Seattle Area.

Sorry, that might have been misleading...
Maybe this one will more clearly show that my grandmother was an American (I am convinced my sister will marry a foreigner to carry on the tradition). As for my grandfather... I assume that is the case, but I don't really know much about any of them other than there origin (my parents are very old so I only ever knew the one grandmother and that was only till I was about six years old).
