It's not the cheapest travel destination, but it's worth it; especially the South Island.
I'm one of the weird ones that actually prefers the cold weather, so I'm quite enjoying the cold snap we're experiencing at the moment :)
I got married off the coast and spent my honeymoon there. Absolutely loved it!
