At some point a lot of jobs will be automated. It will be scary and interesting to see how society handles this.

That's pretty cool. Although, I have a very good friend who works at Target. I feel horrible for people who depend on jobs in retail if this type of thing moves quickly into the main stream.

While I completely agree with you there is a lot of misinformation being disseminated. I have had "discussions" on this topic with my in-laws sadly it's pointless. Where ever it is they get their information from just has to instill reasonable doubt and now they are deniers. I imagine the denial stems from the people/corporations with money. They likely have a vested interest to ensure there is enough doubt in people to keep laws working in their favor.

Agreed! But, I am at fault for the lack of conversation on Sanpzu. There have been ample times I should/could have started a conversation or simply commented on a post, but didn't. Even when I see posts have a lot of up votes I sometimes just join the up-vote brigade and move on. As a community we all need to take part to make it a nice place to spend time.

Happy to hear you're having a good Thanksgiving. Ours was pretty good too. We had Thanksgiving with our neighbors today. We split the cooking duties and all met at their place around 1:30pm CST. They have 3 girls and we have 3 girls all around the same age so it works out pretty well; until the fighting starts of course. ;)

The only bad part is I am on-call this week. Interestingly, my wife and I were hurriedly attempting to get all the food together before 1:30 and ( of course ) I get all call. Luckily, it didn't take to long to resolve and we weren't too late.
