It's hard to follow everyone back, and sooner or later I'm going to hit my level limit. I learned that the system automatically sets new users to follow the most active members, presumably to give them an idea of where the action is. At least one new user asked me if I was someone else because why else would I follow him? He had no idea that I was simply following back.
UPDATE: limit reached. No more following for me!
I had forgotten that when you create a new account it makes you follow active users, but it does make sense!

I promise I'm not stalking anyone! I think you commented on one of my early posts, but I'll respond here anyway. I found Snapzu in late May, but I barely remember making my account. Most nights I'm on my phone just before I fall asleep, and I often do things there that I don't remember, or barely remember. I think this was one of those. But anyway, I started looking into Reddit alternatives and found that I already had an account here. So since then I've been fairly active and just started my very first Tribe, /t/BattleBots last night when the new season started. Lots of nostalgia (I think I was about 14 or so when it first came on), but then it just got intense in the very first fight. Even my wife was entertained by it! Aaaaaanyway. I really like Snapzu, I feel like it takes the basis of Reddit but builds on it - a LOT. In all the right ways.
Can anyone explain what "following" is. I'm new and I have no idea what is going on D:

Also, do we get automated followers? I just got three all of a sudden. Pretty sure I haven't done anything to warrant following.

Welcome! I'd prefer it if I was given the option of following the most active rather than being forced it but It's not difficult to just go through and unfollow.
