When a site like the NYTimes uses cookies to track how many free articles I've browser, private browsing resets those counters to zero every time I restart the browser.
Yep, I definitely use it to bypass silly limits, and general "tracking". I also use incognito when I do research on gifts or other things I wouldn't want people to know about.
