There isn't anyone on the R side that I find at all appealing (and I am a registered R, though I lean far more Libertarian). Hillary is completely untrustworthy, likely faces some real legal trouble over her email server and retention of classified material, and I am afraid that if she is the primary winner, that a third Bush presidency is very possible. If it's a choice between those two, I'm staying home.

@NotWearingPants if you are fearful of a third Bush presidency, wouldn't you rather vote for Hillary Clinton than stay at home? That would help avoid a Bush presidency more than withholding your vote, and at least you'd know she wouldn't be as conservative as other guy, if that's what bothers you.

I can't vote for a criminal. Gen Petraeus got felony charges and plead for 2 years probation and a 100K fine for "mishandling" five classified documents, Clinton's illegal home email server handled in the thousands, perhaps tens of thousands. And it's been released that she retained at least some of those from at least 5 separate agencies after she left office. Most of the traffic is probably going to wind up to be forensically recoverable. All of this will be brought up relentlessly during a campaign and if it doesn't wind up with her charged, I will lose what little hope I have left for any sort of justice in this country.

Anyone below the rank of Colonel in the military that did this would be lucky to ever see the outside of a prison. Rules are a little different for generals, and we all know there is a big difference for the politically connected and the wealthy.

I really hope Bernie comes out of the primaries.
