I, personally, don't like the texture of the horseradish in my bloody mary, if you are similar to me, you may enjoy my recipe:

    Ingredients:

    1. 2 oz Vodka

    2. BM Mix:

    -4 oz Clamato Juice

    -Freshly Cracked Pepper

    -1 tsp Sirracha

    -1 tsp horseradish

    -5 shakes of worcestershire

    -1 oz Lemon Juice

    -1/2 tsp Bacon Drippings

    Directions:

    1. Blend above ingredients (without vodka) in a blender

    2. Strain blended BM mix into a drink shaker with a fine mesh strainer

    3. Add vodka and Ice, shake vigorously for 1 min.

    4. Pour drink into a tall glass over ice, garnish with celery, green olives, and/or bacon

The bacon drippings - do you just add them in their hard state (kind of like butter)? Or melt them a bit in the microwave first?

I'll definitely have to try this version soon. Thanks for sharing!

I have added it in a semi-solid state before and it can work this way but integrates much better when it is fully melted.

More of a lunch than brunch drink in my opinion. Also, try Caesars!

(vodka, Clamato juice, salt&pepper, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, celery)

And pickled beans and olives, if you're going to have something named after a salad might as well go all out! But trust me, the beans... so good.

I've never heard of beans in a bloody mary! Sounds interesting. I like to add some gherkin pickles to mine.

Thats one of the reasons that I like bloody marys so much. Unlike most drinks, there are so many different variations that can be made and everyone has their own personal twist.

I know this isn't traditional, but the best Bloody Marys I've had used a pinch of Old Bay.

I thought there might be a need for this drink after the 4th :)

I find cholula sauce to be superior in bloody mary's because it has less vinegar.
