I only read this story due to the opening line; "Here's some great news for the dying food truck industry:"
dying? Really? Must read more.
This of course links to another article of maybe 13 words describing the imminent fiery death of the food truck industry. Ah but wait, the 2nd article is speaking for New York City.
My own city here in Canada is experiencing the opposite. Very few permits were allowed for trucks until last summer when the amount got increased to 20. This summer not only did they double the amount of permits, but held a lottery for them due to high demand. The trucks I've been by all have boasted line ups. I suppose the point is location location location.

Here in Vancouver, the food truck industry is on the boom too. To say an industry is dying without any actual proof is just ignorant. Agreed with the note to self, now I'm suspicious of the claims they make.
