Over the past five years, Amazon’s fourth-quarter growth rate has steadily declined, from 42% in 2009 to 20% in 2013—and the company was projecting between 7% to 18% for 2014.
Sick of crap like that. 7-18% growth? That's freaking awesome numbers. They're growing! But to hear Wall Street, they're "not growing to analysts expectations". Boo-hoo. They're making money hand over fist after decades in the game. Not too bad from where I'm sitting.
As for the Fire Phone? Bleh. It was a complete turd of an idea. I picked up a Fire TV stick here recently (hey, it was on sale) and it's pretty much a turd as well. It's sorta okay if you have a Prime account. If not, then it's basically Amazon asking you constantly for money.
