Bezos tries to hem and haw his way out of the issue, but his interrogator, Business Insider editor-in-chief Henry Blodget, won’t let up, asking again, "So, Jeff, what happened with the Fire Phone?"

Sick of crap like that. 7-18% growth? That's freaking awesome numbers. They're growing! But to hear Wall Street, they're "not growing to analysts expectations". Boo-hoo. They're making money hand over fist after decades in the game. Not too bad from where I'm sitting.
As for the Fire Phone? Bleh. It was a complete turd of an idea. I picked up a Fire TV stick here recently (hey, it was on sale) and it's pretty much a turd as well. It's sorta okay if you have a Prime account. If not, then it's basically Amazon asking you constantly for money.
I like Jeff. Good guy. he's done some amazing things over the years. I'm sure there's still a lot of mileage
