Little to no association between butter consumption, chronic disease or total mortality
An epidemiological study analyzing the association of butter consumption with chronic disease and mortality finds that butter was only weakly associated with total mortality, not associated with heart disease, and slightly inversely associated (protective) with diabetes.

This is good news considering almost every brand of margarine never tasted as good as real butter.
Always hated margarine, the concept itself just seemed way more unhealthy as a "healthy" alternative to butter. I'm glad I stuck with the real thing.
I never believed that stuff. Butter is too good to be bad.
It is indeed...It's hilarious to watch how butter is selling like hot cakes in my favorite grocery,even as margarine just gathers dust.
