Not a good time to stroll around with your google glasses, so stop being such yuppies and respect peoples privacy. Wear those things in the shower for all I care, but realize one thing... people don't like you invading their privacy, and they will defend it in whatever way they know how, even if it means giving you a shiner and breaking your precious nerdgoggles.
I don't find this in anyway surprising. Take your phone out, go to the wrong part of town and start pointing it at people, see what happens.
