I Was Assaulted For Wearing Google Glass In The Wrong Part Of San Francisco
On Friday night, I was assaulted while walking down the sidewalk in the Mission District of San Francisco. A colleague and I had just finished covering a march in protest of a Google employee who had recently evicted several tenants after buying and moving into a home in the area.

I don't find this in anyway surprising. Take your phone out, go to the wrong part of town and start pointing it at people, see what happens.

Face it, there's no way that the uninitiated to know wether they are being recorded or not from a quick glance. It's tiny, expensive, and trivial to rip off and destroy. I don't see any way for GG to defend against this.
Yep, right at this moment we are in the middle of a battle for our privacy, and guess what... we are loosing. Not a good time to stroll around with your google glasses, so stop being such yuppies and respect peoples privacy. Wear those things in the shower for all I care, but realize one thing... people don't like you invading their privacy, and they will defend it in whatever way they know how, even if it means giving you a shiner and breaking your precious nerdgoggles.
