I had a feeding tube for a while after surgery a few years ago. It never occurred to me that anyone would want to use one to take food out.

Did you feel hungry? Or, not really hungry, but like missed the process of eating the food? Or, does the stomach being full just kinda make that go away?

Not really hungry at any point, though part of that was likely from the painkillers. It was very strange to not chew and swallow and most of all, to not taste. You don't realize how important that is until it's not there.
