[Other] A ruler effectively destroys crime, war, and poverty with a simple tactic- mind control. Do you support him?

There are two sides to consider here. Either you let this autocrat lead his zombie people on to a glittering utopia, or you rebel against him and cause war, strife, and a return to the problems he abolished.

It's difficult question because either way you're damned: Save the people from his grasp and you're labeled an enemy of peace. Leave them in his rule and you subject them to the loss of free will.

Let's assume this ruler effectively controls the world, but needs the support of three generals. You, and three others who control the world's armies. With strategy you can win against the other two, but at a heavy cost. Nuclear warheads may have to be detonated to bring an end to the wars a la WWII. The mind control is achieved by a powerful drug, taken daily by everyone. It gets rid of pain and disease, but also robs the user of their thoughts, focusing them instead on work and pleasure- no more violence, no more greed.

What would you do? Is there a third option? The fate of the world effectively rests in your hands. Don't fail us.

What are your thoughts on the new Space Wolf mobile game?

I've been playing it for a few hours yesterday and today, and I have a kind of solid opinion on it. The art is great, the animations are ok (there's only one death animation for enemies, it gets boring fast), and the gameplay is interesting if you cozy up to it.

It does behave like a traditional mobile game in the way that it unsubtly asks you to buy booster packs and locks up your squad sometimes (because they're "resting"). Speaking of the card system, I'm not sure I understand it, and I can't be bothered to learn. So far I can use the forge and organize my decks, but it's still a bit confusing and I wish they'd just put regular weapons (like Xcom) and such in there instead of a weapon roulette.

Its good, for a mobile game. As something to lose time, yes. But anything beyond casual play and you might find yourself bored or too confused to enjoy it for hours at a time.

Anyways, enough about my opinion. What do you guys think? If you haven't done so, download it! Its fun and free- there's no reason not to.

New to Warhammer Fantasy. Where to start?

I come from 40k. Not sure if you guys use codexes or what. I know the armies are huge and it's not squad based, but eh... I think it'll be fun.

    Read THIS Before Posting!

Hello, and welcome to /t/artrequests! First and foremost, I'd like to wish you a great time here as you request art, offer your services, or even browse posts for any art you may find interesting. The way this tribe's posts will be organized is easy. A tag will show our members, in an easy and quick manner, what kind of post they're looking at. A tag is as follows:

    [REQUEST] Batman riding a unicycle

Posts will be divided in three categories:

    -Request -Offer -Discussion

The requests category is obvious: if you need art done or have a fantastic idea, etc, make your post with the [REQUEST] tag.

The offer tag will be applied to posts by artists that want to provide their services. For example:

[OFFER] Strapping young artist looking to draw you like his French girls

And lastly, the discussion tag will be used for anything that can be discussed about this tribe or art in general, as long as it doesn't get too off track with the requests theme. For example, you can post a discussion where you ask for feedback to your work, or where you ask which technique is best for whatever. DON'T, however, post about art in general or something. This is /t/artrequests, we're here to help you and make art, but this isn't /t/art. Example:

[DISCUSSION] Will this drawing look better colored?

    Don't do this:

[DISCUSSION] Neocubism is a great expression of the atomic age

I love art, but c'mon, guys.

Anyways, love for everyone, may your creativity be boundless and your pencils sharp! Lets make some art, people!

PS: ignore the old, tagless posts. The tag rule wasn't implemented back then.

/t/artrequest- Want somebody to draw for you? Want to draw for someone? Come on in!

I created /t/artrequest because I'm an artist and I love drawing, but lately my imagination has taken a day off and gone to bed... for a couple of days now. In this tribe, you can post requests for artists to see where you simply say what you want drawn and a good Samaritan artist will come along and draw it for you! Vice-versa, you can, as an artist, offer your services to the general public and bring other's imaginations to life.

There are a couple rules in the tribe, but nothing that will seriously limit your experience lol. I plan to make this tribe grow and see it provide art for the masses- nothing is out of the question! Heck, if your tribe needs a banner or an image, post here and an artist will get to it! (Or at least, I will, since I'm the only artist there... for now!)

I hope you guys enjoy this tribe as much as I will!

The Dankest Raidraptors You'll Ever See

I took a look at the Raidraptor archetype and I thought it might have some potential- I've tested this out and it holds out pretty well. The consistency is not where I want it, but when I do get the ball rolling (80% of the time), I wreck decks and beat faces.

This deck revolves around (obviously) the Raidraptors, getting them out as fast as possible and yet being cautious in case everything goes horribly wrong and my opponent punishes me for being greedy and over-extending.

Hit me up with your suggestions, criticisms, and questions! I'll try my best to answer it all, as I do want to make this deck better.

    Monsters: 16

x1 Dark Armed Dragon x3 Raidraptor - Vanishing Lanius x2 Raidraptor - Mimicry Lanius x3 Raidraptor - Fuzzy Lanius x2 Raidraptor - Tribute Lanius x3 Raidraptor - Impale Lanius x2 Raidraptor - Singing Lanius

    Spells: 10

    x1 Allure of Darkness x2 Swallow's Nest x2 Raidraptor - Nest x2 Galaxy Cyclone x1 Raigeki x2 Rank-Up-Magic Revolution Force

    Traps: 14

x2 Raidraptor - Readiness x1 Escape from the Dark Dimension x3 Fiendish Chain x3 Call Of The Haunted x3 Reckless Greed x2 Raptor's Gust

    Total: 40

    Extra Deck: 15

x1 Raidraptor - Revolution Falcon x1 Wind-Up Arsenal Zenmaioh x1 Number 61: Volcasaurus x1 Raidraptor - Blaze Falcon x1 Evilswarm Ouroboros x1 Stellarknight Delteros x1 Bujinki Amaterasu x1 Dark Rebellion Xyz Dragon x1 Number 101: Silent Honor ARK x1 Ice Beast Zerofyne x1 Castel, the Skyblaster Musketeer x3 Raidraptor - Force Strix x1 Raidraptor - Rise Falcon

40K Question: Which Space Marine Chapter should I choose for my army?

I was thinking of two armies, Ultramarines and Space Wolves. I'm trying to digest their fluff as fast as I can, but it's a lengthy task and I'd like to know which army would be the best. The other armies I want to get are the Orks and the Imperial Guard.

I heard that the Space Wolves are a bit sympathetic towards civilians (or at least, as sympathetic as an Astartes can be) and the fact that they're basically space vikings really helped me choose them. However, the Ultramarines are also really cool and they're more of a "normal" Space Marine chapter. I'm fluctuating between these two, but if anybdy suggests a better chapter, I'll take a look at it.

    Thanks for reading!
