I think I'd rather debate the Chili.

In my experience doing office work offensive and even illegal porn was the norm, and the owner seemed determined to gross us out with objectionable content. In my experience as parent however I have found "NSFW" distinctions for foul language, violence and obscenity to be helpful, even while defending nude or even erotic historical art from being censored.

Reminds me of all the fig leaves painted over Biblical nudes by latter-day puritans.

Pretty sure they'd censor his language, but I haven't had a TV signal in about 10 years, so I guess I wouldn't know. I take my kids to the museum to look at naked Greek statues, but keep them away from animals like Tyson.

IMO the erotic Japanese art video I posted wasn't authentic NSFW, as it was art. In my world the horrible comments made by Tyson are several degrees of magnitude beyond erotic classical art. I provide the NSFW less to protect office drones and more to protect parents and their children. Considering Tyson expresses a desire to eat children in this video, I suspect most parents would agree it is not family friendly content.

It ruins the texture too. Liver, hearts and kidneys can be wonderfully tender and even creamy in texture, but once overcooked they are tough and rubbery.

The trick to organ meats is not to overcook. Rare they are delicious, overcooked they take on a metallic, livery "organ meat" taste.

This is a very disturbing perspective. The author is not only racist and sexist, but also hopelessly self-centered and unwilling to allow others to be different from them.

My first experience with reddit was being downvoted into the negative for expressing a conservative point of view on r/politics. Within a week I had learned about SRS, and how they violate reddit policies (such as brigading, doxing, threats of violence and the like) with impunity from their admin bedfellows. It is far from the "white boys" website the author wants to paint it as, and people like the author intend to do everything in their power to drive out every bit of diversity of thought, not only from reddit but from the world. Such an entitled, privileged and arrogantly ignorant supremacism might have been tacky coming from Hitler and the Nazis, but it is absurd and unthinkable coming from a doll-loving neckbearded manchild the likes of the author.

CT Scan Reveals That Statue of the Buddha Is Actually a Mummy

Last year the statue was released from China for the first time and put on display at Drents Museum of the Netherlands.  Later it was taken to Meander Medical Center, where it received a CT scan that clearly showed the mummified body inside. Photo Credit Jan van Esch / Meander Medisch Centrum An endoscopy was performed that identified mummified remains as Buddhist master Liuquan of the Chinese Meditation School. Another interesting discovery was made, within the mummy in the space where there...

It all comes down to what you mean by "chili." If what you mean is chili con carne then it must have meat, as the meaning is chili peppers with meat. When I hear the word chili I am thinking of the pepper, and various meat and vegetable dishes made with a chili pepper gravy.

I saw a history program about pemmican (a mix of fat, jerky and berries), and the provisions early americans carried. They said people would take a mix of pemmican, dried beans and vegetables and make it into a brick that could be easily stored, transported and traded, as well as boiled and eaten. If that happened to have dried chili pepper as a seasoning, I would call it "chili" when served. Otherwise I might call it "beans.". In this modern life I have seen various "chili" mixes in sacks or in jars that contained dried beans, vegetables and chili spices (no meat or fat), and I have also seen vegetarian chili. Vegetarian chili is not compatible with chili con carne, but it can be compatible with chili.

    Made chili last night.

Started with homemade beef lard / rib drippings in the bottom of my pot. Stirred / crushed in a can of chipotle peppers in adobo sauce. Simmered that for a bit, and added diced hot italian sausages, and about 5 minutes later added chopped pre-cooked chicken breast. A few minutes later a can of black beans, a can of lima beans, and normally would have added a can of kidney beans, but I had ran out and used a different brand of black beans. Cooked that until hot, then added a can of Jalapeno / cilantro Rotel and a couple vine ripened chopped tomatoes.

Wasn't hot enough, so added some garlic chili sauce and a couple dried crushed chili peppers, stirred it up and served.
