The judge let her out because he realized he was a hair breath away from censure or impeachment for abuse of power but the main steam media is doing it's level best to disappear that fact.

Kim Davis tried to use her authority as a government official to discriminate, and the courts issued a correction. She tried to defy that correction and went to jail for it.
I'm sorry this is so difficult for you to understand, but the judge acted correctly within the limits of his powers. It was Davis who abused her powers and paid the price for it.
