The judge let her out because he realized he was a hair breath away from censure or impeachment for abuse of power but the main steam media is doing it's level best to disappear that fact.

I'm sure you have a reliable source to support that claim.

As to the court's authority authority WHAT? That was never asked about nor questioned. What I asked you to do was to list the Federal and/or State LAWS she broke.

The Supreme Court ruled that same-sex marriage is a right that no government authority has the ability to deny. In denying licenses to same sex couples, Kim Davis challenged the court's authority and lost. A warrant was then made out for her arrest and she went to jail.

I am glade to see that you did note that the Judge not being the sharpest stick in the box did make her a martyr by his stupid actions. Fist bit of truth I've seen associated with this.

That's enough trolling out of you.

What the Supreme Court does is clarify law. When the Supreme Court applied the Fourteenth Amendment to marriage law, it clarified how the government can and cannot behave toward its citizens. Kim Davis tried to use her authority as a government official to discriminate, and the courts issued a correction. She tried to defy that correction and went to jail for it.

I'm sorry this is so difficult for you to understand, but the judge acted correctly within the limits of his powers. It was Davis who abused her powers and paid the price for it.
