I agree. I don't like how the article has a "Diaz was completely innocent" feel to it. I'm not saying he deserved to be shot but it's not like he was a model citizen. Yes he was unarmed, but how did the officers know that? How did they know if he was reaching for something?
He was also drunk and high on Meth, so that might have inhibited his judgement and prevented him from properly following instructions.
