I wonder how that cop justifies this action in his (incredibly small) mind? How do you look at a fellow citizen who is concerned about the actions of massive corporations and decide that you are going to try to kill that person for protesting said corporation (along with their cronies in government)? And, make no mistake, if a citizen did this to a cop it would be charged as attempted murder, so that's exactly what it is- Attempted Murder. It's only going to get worse now that we have a fascist lunatic as our president.
A job that gives you the power of life and death over others with few consequences for exercising it is naturally going to draw sociopaths. Add in a good helping of steroid abuse and you have the recipe for how things like this happen.
