Men growing up in any culture today are never leaving boyhood because of how emasculated they are.
Yes, why would there be the color pink if any male, let alone you, could realistically reach sexual maturity?
Now women have special parking spots that give them more space.
There exist in Asia some number of parking spaces that are not as small as the rest, provided as a courtesy to ladies in a culture that in broad strokes has more traditional roles for women such that their inexperience is a significant actuarial factor in parking outcomes. That's what castrated you and generations of your gender?
Sure this starts as an insult to women but it's equally as insulting to men.
I should like to see how well you park in typically-sized Asian parking spaces before I take your opinion that an offer of luxuriously large spaces to park in is an insult.
The result? Men have to use smaller spaces instead of giving everyone adequate room.
And this gender-equity fairness authority ensuring that you and your fellow castrati are pampered enough? Is that going to shrink the people and the cars or magically enlarge Asia iself to fit your wounded sense of masculinity-never-achieved? Ia that properly fair to Africa? Ganymede?
The better method? Instead of making this about gender, try making this about skill?
Note that your skills have yet to be put on the scales and weighed in this matter. Note, also, that if parking skill were uniformly distributed in the Asian countries that have this sort of parking accommodation, you might've been anatomically correct right now,
Put a green triangle in the middle of the space to represent unskilled drivers and let people decide for themselves.
What could go wrong? Well, other than the green part. After all, a third of men are colorblind to some degree, but I guess you at least have a redundant coding in the triangle. Unless a symbol like the triangle may have implications you hadn't counted on in your careful consideration of pan-Asian culture.
Until this becomes about generating ticketing revenue in the municipality.
Parking tickets are emasculation at the point of a gun?
Let's not try to take my comment too far out of context or be rude to one another over it.
Alright, then. Let's unpack this then:
All I am saying here is that it was stupid for them to create women-only parking spots
One point to consider may be that you've found this years-old story, duplicated in country after country in Asia, stupid because you've not put a great deal of thought into it. I'd like to suggest to you that it's punched a button and, that particular button having been punched, you've obligingly lashed out. This capsule version you've offered when challenged is different from what you first said:
Men growing up in any culture today are never leaving boyhood because of how emasculated they are.
This is substantively, revealingly nothing at all whatsoever to do with what you're claiming now.
Consider the young boy learning to drive. He is unskilled and therefore if he needs extra space he will not be allowed to park in those unskilled spaces because they are for women. So he will be forced to have much more anxiety over hitting objects than he could have had if he was permitted some extra room.
Let me be sure I understand. There is a boy. He is forced by gender-biased traffic wardens into debilitating, lifelong panic attacks over his under-developed parking skills. As we know, he is entombed in sexual immaturity because, as you say, "society is lately overcompensating and giving women extra rights to make up for their inequality in other areas."
My assertion was only that the gender inequalities are a double edged sword.
No, that's not what you said.
I'm not sure, but I sense in this spiel of yours a spot of the 'culture of victimization' I've heard tell about somewhere.
The boy, here, is incapable of self-responsibility or behind-the-wheel driving skills because of bugaboos and things-that-go-bump-in-the-night? That's bizarre nonsense, to my mind.
Create "noob parking" spots and let anyone use them.
There is a human failing here. It feels like... scapegoating?
That's a shame. I had so looked forward to finding out why boys in every culture are forever trapped in adolescence because... wait, why? Because some women's bathrooms have coin-operated tampon dispensers? Not sure I'm as clear on this as you are.
I get it, though. Who would even want to be a man in a world where some hotels provide little bathing cap packets in the bathroom for their guests? Even I don't want to live in a world where that kind of pernicious evil exists. And those little chocolate mints the turn-down service leaves on the pillows? Don't even get me started. So oppressive! So emasculating.
True equality between the sexes can only be achieved when there are no cultural norms nor mores anywhere in the world that strike you, without having given it one fleeting moment's thought mind you, involving women as different from men in any respect, right? That about it?
Here I was, thinking your problem might be with women. It hadn’t even occurred to me you'd have a major personal problem around fat people as well. Now you've got two problems.
You know, you're right. You'll have to excuse me. I need to check in with the rest of the global, pan-cultural, fembot mechanoid cabal about our comprehensive, detailed and altogether brillig plan to castrate you. May the goddesses beyond keep you from twigging our illustrious, if nefarious, scheme of schemes.
