I'd like you to elaborate on that, if you would. Is democracy a bad thing? If someone is to make this decision, who else but the people of Greece?
Keep in mind, this is a tough decision, and were pros and cons to voting "yes" and "no." But, to denigrate the people of Greece for making a decision that many economists, including nobel prize winner Joseph Stiglitz, support, seems a bit childish. Would really like you to clarify what you meant by saying that the kids are running the candy store. Seems like a very anti-democratic/pro-authoritarian sentiment.

I need to watch some of these before I judge them, but if I were to make a top 20, No Country for Old Men, There Will Be Blood, Inglorious Basterds (over Django), Lost in Translation, and Team America: World Police would all definitely make the cut.

How weird do your musical tastes get?

That is weird. I remember when it was on TV Land, they pretty much played 4 episodes a day in broadcast order. I used to come home from school and watch it at 4:00. I wasn't very popular, coincidentally. :P
Now, I pretty much just watch the movie if I get a craving. It's much funnier, less clowny. But, there's no denying that it was one of the greatest TV comedies ever. Nothing really came close to it until Seinfeld.

Unfortunately, even if they end up having to euthanize most of them, it's still a positive change considering how much suffering is caused by this type of exploitation.

Exiting the Eurozone upon default would have certain benefits, though. The risk of over-inflation is real, but doing away with the Euro will open up chances to grow the economy with exports and tourism. If Greece chooses not to exit, they'd still be under the heels of German and French banks. Defaulting and exiting from the Eurozone is their best option, in my opinion.
Check out the link I just contributed to the thread. Stiglitz can explain it better than I can.

You're welcome. Just one of those things that I found and had to share. It touches on a very interesting cross-section of topics.

Strengths: cinematography, soundtrack
Weakness: It's an art film. It's really best not to worry about user ratings. They're relatively meaningless. Reading the reviews on IMDB will show you that people thought it was boring, slow-paced, and hard to follow. These are the people who watched it expecting little more than to see Scarlett Johansson naked. It has an 85% on Rotten Tomatoes, so critics tended to love it. If 2001 is one of your favorite movies, then you should be able to handle it.

Thanks for that. I'll give that extension a shot. If worse comes to worse I can always switch to Chromium.

Under the Skin - artsy sci-fi horror. If you like 2001, you'll appreciate this.
Ex Machina - sci-fi thriller. Explores the philosophical questions raised by artificial intelligence through a very gripping battle of wits between an everyman, an inventor, and a robot.
Blue Ruin - no fancy stuff. Just a great revenge thriller.

Pretty much any album I listen to. That's sort of my benchmark for what I consider good music. If a musician can't entertain me for 40-70 minutes, then how good can they really be? Some examples (approx. chronological order):
- The Times They Are a-Changin' by Bob Dylan
- Freak Out! by The Mothers of Invention
- Revolver by The Beatles
- Safe as Milk by Captain Beefheart
- The Velvet Underground & Nico by The Velvet Underground
- Obscured by Clouds by Pink Floyd
- Tago Mago by Can
- Dub Housing by Pere Ubu
- Surfer Rosa by Pixies
- Bleach by Nirvana
- Badmotorfinger by Soundgarden
- Lonesome Crowded West by Modest Mouse
- Metropolis, Pt. 2: Scenes from a Memory by Dream Theater
- Feels by Animal Collective
- Frances the Mute by The Mars Volta
- Good Apollo, I'm Burning Star IV by Coheed and Cambria
- Crack the Skye by Mastodon
- Roll the Bones by Shakey Graves
- Strange Mercy by St. Vincent (What I'm listening to right now)
- More Than Any Other Day by Ought
- Zaba by Glass AnimalsJust to name a few.
