James O'Young, vice president of Uncle Lee’s Legends of China (which had the highest number/amount of pesticides) was interviewed for the CBC article. His response was essentially, it was, "Yeah, our teas have pesticides. What of it?" For some strange reason, it reminded me of the Saturday Night Live skit in which Dan Aykroyd was the CEO of a company that produced dangerous toys! On a more serious note, I've never heard of True Activist. How reliable of a source is it?
Having been in China a few times, I assume by default that anything coming from China is hopelessly contaminated. They don't really care much about their environment.
Or the people who live in it.
