    In /t/DID there's a pic on the right that has many different faces printed on balloons - representative of the common perceptions of the condition.

    While I do not personally know anyone with DID, some think it manifests in victims of severe and sustained trauma as a coping mechanism. Since DID sufferers would likely have experienced some form of PTSD, there is an increased likelihood of readers having psychological triggers - the real kind, not the "someone disagreed with me on Tumblr" variety.
