Question: Automatic Reddit post import - am I allowed to do it?

I've been slowly (it is a workday after all) digging through existing tribes and subscribing stuff, there are a few tribes I'd like to start for interests I have that have not sprouted here yet (and help other people from those small sub-reddits to come over too). To kickstart those tribes and smooth the transition, am I allowed to create and run a script that pulled the last 20-ish posts from the subs and imported them into a (few) Tribe(s)? Wouldn't want to get kicked out for spamming or breaking any other rule

(I can't seem to find the docs for snapzu's api, but I can see it working on Chrome's network tab, so I could reverse engineer its use if no docs are made available to the public.)

TLDR: would I be breaking any rules by auto-importing a few posts from reddit to a new tribe?

I think the point 10 from the Prolouge under Etiquette on posting & commenting would cover your question.

Do not use scripts/bots to automate posting or commenting.

Shame, I just wanted to do it once per subreddit I'm missing I was hoping the rules could be ahem bent a little to smooth over transitions

The same idea had crossed my mind as well haha. I posted my 3 on reddit and they were gone in two minutes.

I'm still saving my codes for a few friends that may be interested.

Well, codes generate more codes e.g. give 1 code to 1 friend he/she can give 3 to 3 other ppl. Plus if anyone simply apply for an invite they'll get one within 15 minutes or so (the last time I checked) so maybe share them now anyways :p

I saw a post on the front page earlier saying they had something like 10,000 new invite requests so they weren't handing out new ones. Pretty sure it said the only way to get a code for now was from current members and they would slowly email new codes to people that requested them in order to keep the site stable.

edit: This is the one I was talking about.

If you're allowed, it'd be appreciated if you'd take requests. Like /r/MrRobot only has 3,776 members on Reddit, so the likelihood of an active Snapzu Tribe is small. A temporary mirror-bot would make the transition to Snapzu easier for lurkers like me.

Kind of off topic but how is the show? What would you compare it to? I just finished Sense8 and it looks like it has the same kinda vibe.

I'm part-way through sense8 and losing interest, do you feel its worth the watch?

100%. The first 7-8 episodes are character development. Once the climax starts all the puzzle peices start to fix together. I really don't want to spoil anything, but once Wolfie started to be characterized I was hooked.

It seems to be setting itself up to be Fight Club. I am enjoying it so far however.

Reddit is Reddit, Snapzu is Snapzu. This kind of good.

would more tribes & users really hurt that?

It's kind of ironic, actually. Reddit's jumping ship to Snapzu, which is much more moderated to be a 'safe and comfy' place. Even the intro mentions only submitting 'tasteful' NSFW content. Who draws the line between Playboy and Backyard Butt Sluts 2015?

Wait, we can't have Backyard Butt Sluts 2015 here?

        That's just wrong.

Is there any info regarding Snapzu's free speech policy? I can't seem to find anything on the site. Hopefully 'tasteful' NSFW content is simply referring to illegal content.
