As a former (and admittedly current) reddit user, I didn't care about the drama so much as I did about what it demonstrated about reddit's in-house leadership team. As much as I love this site as an alternative, until it reaches a critical mass, I don't think it will be a daily, let alone, an hourly destination on the web for me.

Welcome! I'm enjoying the mechanics of this site much more than reddit. I just hope that maybe we can get the invite pool opened up a bit to speed the exodus. Then again, I have no idea whether or not snapzu could even handle the traffic if invites doubled. I know my 3 invites were snapped up in about 2 minutes of posting them on reddit.

I'm not the OP I was just being helpful. Perhaps Snapzu could use more obvious highlighting for the OP like on reddit. Currently I think it changes the color of the username, but a text background highlight and/or tag for submitters could be useful.

I just joined following a link in one of the threads explaining the current drama. I was one of the first to find Reddit island after jumping off the sinking Digg raft. I feel like the tide is turning and I need to find a new home before Reddit implodes.
