I came here from reddit today and it kind of annoys me too. Why would you leave reddit only to come here and try and recreate the exact same site. I'm sure this site could benefit from new tribes and more content but recreating reddit subs and posting old reposts from them doesn't seem like a great idea.

I'll be working all weekend but I get double time for Saturday so it ain't all bad.

I saw a post on the front page earlier saying they had something like 10,000 new invite requests so they weren't handing out new ones. Pretty sure it said the only way to get a code for now was from current members and they would slowly email new codes to people that requested them in order to keep the site stable.
