I know this is probably a bad question to ask but, do you guys still use Reddit anyways?
We all know that lately Reddit has been nothing but the home of eternal drama and a lot of Reddit users have been migrating to other places trying to see if they can claim a new internet home for themselves. It's a similar situation when it comes to where I'm currently standing to say the least. I've tried using VOAT, and it was a huge NOPE all the way. I got back to updating my Twitter account but after awhile Twitter becomes incredibly boring and you start hating it.Then I found Snapzu and Snapzu's been a bundle of joy and a breath of fresh air that I've never experienced before in my days as an internet user.
I'm still using Reddit despite it being a huge mess, but now I'm only subscribing to the few subbredits that interest me and I keep away from everything that I don't give a crap about. You'll miss out on the popular posts and on the "what's been going on lately" stuff but at least you'll be happy in your little Reddit corner. I'm thinking about sending Snapzu invites to a couple of friends who I know will love this website for what it is. Anyways, just wanted to see what you folks thought about this whole "I'm leaving Reddit to see what's on the other side" deal.

I glance at Reddit every once in awhile... but never for more than 5 minutes. I've explained other places, but I've never been able to be anything past a lurker on Reddit and Snapzu has totally changed that for me.
Yes, but I generally stray away from posting anything there. Mostly I'm on Snapzu, and when I feel like looking at cute pictures of dogs and cats I'll head over to reddit for a bit. I just got tired of the bs of everyone fighting all the time about everything.
I still spend a lot of time on Reddit and plan to keep doing that, but I'm a level 900 procrastinator, so I can support multiple time-sinks at once. It's how I charge my batteries for the extreme bursts of energy needed to claw my way back from too much procrastination!
I only just got my Snapzu invite today, but I like it so far! There isn't as much content here yet, but the fact that it's still pretty small makes it feel more intimate.
Yeah, I bet once we start getting new Snapzu members the content will grow and it'll get even more interesting in time. I started spending more time on Reddit now that I know how it's supposed to work. Don't have to deal with the Reddit drama now, and it's nicer that way.
Recently, no. I have purposely been avoiding Reddit. I don't know if that's good or bad, but whatever. I used to post on Reddit more often, but as I have mentioned on Snapzu before I became tired of always feeling like other Redditors were "out to get me". By that I mean people would just go out of there way to prove me wrong, correct my silly spelling mistakes or just be jerks. Most threads I saw (the top posts) are just a hierarchal view of users trying to become the latest meme. There was no dialogue regarding the actual topic anymore; just users trying to one-up each other.
I did end up pretty much stop using reddit entirely. Mostly because I ended up noticing that feeling welcome to participate in the discussion is something I appreciate, and that is not something I felt was necessarily always the case on reddit. Though this varies greatly depending on the subreddit, the interconnectedness with other subreddits always left this niggling feeling of vulnerability I suppose which led to reluctance in participating even in the "good" parts.
Yes, but I generally only post here anymore.
I use Reddit, Voat and Snapzu. I don't see them as something mutually exclusive. Each has their own positives. I don't worry too much about the negatives.
That said, I do spend more time on Snapzu, because of the opportunity to contribute. I've made a small amount of contributions on Reddit in the past week, but it feels really weird posting the content to just one subreddit instead of 3 tribes. As far as Voat, I think I've only made 2 comments there so far.
I still use it sometimes (once a day / every other day) to see what's up in the front page, but most of the time I stay here :).
I use it for some things. I use 4chan for some things as well, Fark and Cracked are great for a laugh. They're websites, not causes.
I'm still on reddit and expect to continue there for the foreseeable future. I still have enough friends there I'm trying to entice into coming here.
I'm still there, I'll probably only contribute to a few subs there until activity picks up here enough for me to let them drop off. I've already started dropping subscriptions to some I used to lurk in.
Unless there is a mass exodus from reddit that comes here I will probably stay there more than here. It's just so much large and personally I still find it better for looking/talking about specific things at once. I like a lot of the ideas here but don't like how a lot of it was implemented.
I've heavily cut back the amount of time I spend on reddit. I spent most of my time lurking there anyway, because of anxiety related to getting ripped apart for messing up a post or making a grammatical error. Hell, I got downvoted in r/knitting for asking a question that had been asked too many times. :/
That being said, I still browse on my lunch on my phone because Snapzu doesn't really have a good mobile platform yet.
