It is a beautiful day here on the east coast. Just sitting out side drinking my coffee, listing to the birds, and thinking that it is a sham the Dwayne Johnson didn't get the lead role for the upcoming remake of "The Quiet Man". But at least we have a new Cloverfield movie on the way! My neighbor Erin has decided to walk her dog without a bra this morning. Which wouldn't be bad if she wasn't old and smelled of beef and cabbage. Still its a beautiful day and I feel like luck is in the air! So how is everybody doing today?
P.S. There is an email going around asking for donations to help a leper colony. Don't send money its a big con.

Today is my first day of involuntary unemployment. I was laid off yesterday thanks to cutbacks. So I'm going to be a big, black ray of fucking sunshine for a bit.

I'm sitting inside, at work, drinking a cup of tea. Waiting for a test to finish so that I can write a report on it.
I am looking forward to watching the new season of Marvel's Daredevil (will be out this weekend). No idea what The Quiet Man is. Also, no such views for me. It's a big sausage fest here at the office. Out of the 5 women working on this project, 1 is at home with a broken leg, another has a day off, one is working in a different office today, the fourth is constantly in meetings, and the fifth works on the other side of the office, we barely get to see her.

Does it need a remake? BTW, that movie was renamed when it came out in my country (Netherlands), translated back to English it reads: "A Yankee from Ireland"
My day is so-so. I'm a software tester by trade, and I run automated testscripts on a database, but today they are giving me inconsistent results. During the first run about half runs well the other half of the script fails. And in the next run it's reversed, and there's no indication why it would do that.

The day was good before I went to work. I came to work and found some of my DR scripts failed. It seems that the admins took the one of the environments down and kept that information hidden. Meaning I was in a panic. Took me awhile to figure it out, not feeling to smart, I guess I will have to get by on my luck and charms.
