Private messages?

The send message button only shows up for me on the profile of teamsnapzu. I also created a second account and notice that there is no button to send me messages eventhough I have allow messages from anyone selected. Does anyone else have this problem?

      I do not see the message user button on DriodDev profile page.

          I don't see a button on your page, and when I tried to reply to your message it gave me an error message.

            The only thing I can think of is that I'm following /u/Droiddev so its letting me PM him... also, droid is following /u/teamsnapzu so he sees the PM button, but hes not following anyone else, so the button does not show up for him. I did some testing and for the peeps I follow I see PM option, but for those who I don't, the button is not available.

            Droid, can you follow me to confirm?

              Yes, it looks like I can only message people that I'm following.

    Hi everyone! We have corrected the issue where a user cannot reply to another user via PM because the initiator of the PM is not being followed. We are also working on expanding the PM button concept to help people know why they are not able to PM certain users do to their personal preferences or due to the need to follow that user before being able to send a PM. This functionality will be available sometime next week. Thank you all for your patience in this matter.
