Hello. There are a lot of new users out there, and I'd like this to be the main thing I have to say to them: This site is not reddit, and it will not be reddit. As much as people want it to resemble reddit, it is, and it will be its own thing. Try to learn its ways and adjust to it, not the other way around.
I am going to travel to the mountainside this Saturday, going to enjoy some cold weather in this mind-numbing heat. I'm currently on holiday, but I'll be starting work again on Monday, something I'm not particularly thrilled about, but oh well.
I am thinking of doing some reading today. For everyone interested, /t/books has this sort of monthly book-group-reading thing where we choose something and we read it until the end of the month, and afterwards we share impressions about the book that we have read together. I'm sure /u/gladsdotter can offer more details on this, if needed.

Enjoy it while it lasts. I envy you!

That would be the book club I linked to at the bottom. But yes, that's right, and I suppose more descriptive :P

Thanks. Here's some pictures of where I'm going in case you won't be hearing from me again.
It's a few hours away from me, but I still feel like it's gonna be a long trip because of this road.
Yeah, that's definitely a road.
It looks very scenic. Try to keep your arms away from dislodged boulders.
Is there any kind of equivalent for great audiobooks? My commute makes it tough for regular reading these days.
