What are your weekend plans?

Hello /t/casualconversation!

Every Friday I will be posting this discussion thread around 10-11am EST.

And without further ado, what are your weekend plans?

----------

My nephews are visiting us this weekend, which is exciting. I don't get to see them that often, so it's nice to have them around. I also might have a casual date tomorrow so hopefully that goes well too! And I'll be working on my portfolio, and working on random stuff which will take up most of my time this weekend.

    - Soccer

    - Spend some time with a few friends, probably playing a Board Game of some sort (Possibly Battlestar Galactica)

    - Get some work done :(

    - And because it's a long weekend here, spending Monday watching first day of TI5 Main Event.

Speaking of board games, have you ever played the Game of Thrones one? I picked it up like two years ago and tried playing it with a few friends. It definitely is intense and has a large learning curve, but it was a LOT of fun.

Yea I own it! I enjoyed it and have played it a few times, but I think I have some issues with it. Maybe it's just how my friends plays but it always seems like near one of the later turns someone decides to go full out yolo on a quest to get enough castles, and usually succeeds. It always feels like the game ends very suddenly, and I'm not sure whether or not I like that.
