Yeah those are creepy and sadly just getting more popular due to those moronic reality tv shows.

To me anyone involved in those beauty pageant competitions needs some serious life guidance.

Beauty pageants are absolutely strange in the first place.

I never really understood how this even got popular in the first place. Like WTF America?

Internet advertisements that pretend to be download buttons, 1 mil. visitor winners, etc. They should be held to a higher standard where they can't falsely advertise.

Reminds me of torrent site with 1000 DOWNLOAD buttons where only one works.

    Lobbying. It's basically legal bribing.

In theory it allows people to inform their congress(wo)men of what they want to happen without citizens having to drop everything and go to Washington D.C.. That said corporations should be banned from hiring lobbyists.

This is true, we mostly hear only about corporate lobbying in the news. There are lobbyists that exist for many other purposes, many of which actually serve good purposes.

It is illegal in basically all countries but the US.

I find it odd that it's to legal to have sex for money on film but it's illegal to have sex for money in private.

I'll contribute my own and say for-profit prisons. Incentive much?

Private prisons are better in that they can generate their own funding for their facilities, but their fault lies in lobbying.

Smoking indoors or in cars with kids in them... Put in hefty fines for offenders.

Yep. Couldn't agree more - especially around kids.

It's already illegal in a few countries, I believe. At least the smoking in cars with kids on board part.
