If you could pick one song from the 1980s that described you, what would you pick and why?
Feel free to post links to the song you mention, but you don't have to as well.
What song would I pick? Vogue by Madonna. Why? Because I'm FIERCE. And it also speaks to me on a "go and enjoy yourself, do what you want" level.
Also, it brought vogueing into mainstream culture, which is awesome in its own right.
Fun fact: The music video was directed by the acclaimed David Fincher, before he began to transition into film.

Snortn whiskey ,drinkn cocaine - Pat Travers, pretty self explanatory.
Probably something from Journey.
I'd have to go with Summer of 69
Hip To Be A Square
Used to be a crazy, rambunctious person that got into a few bad things. Now, not so much. Wife & kids, 9-5 job. But I feel like I've got a pretty damn good life.
Also, I think I'm cool.
Do you enjoy extreme close-ups of your face as well? :D
Of course!
Plus this song was once referred to as their "undisputed masterpiece" by someone I would tend to want to agree with...
That shiny axe and raincoat can be very persuasive.
Don't forget that suave, slicked-back hair
LOVE Bad is Bad, they did a kickass version on Jimmy Kimmel a while back.
Huey Lewis and The News just kick ass in general!
Just Like Heaven - The Cure
Because some of the greatest loves of my life were all in my head.
I was tempted to post Pictures of You by them, because I've been thinking about my first love a lot lately. Such a great band.
They definitely have a knack for cutting to the quick.
It's a hard life.
Because, damn right I did it for love B)
Not linking to the official video because I happen to agree with Taylor here: it's a fantastic song, but the most stupid music video ever made.
I'd say Separate Ways (Worlds Apart) by Journey is probably the best bet for me.
I Drink Alone - You can guess why.
Spandau Ballet - "Gold" of course ;)
ummm wasn't vogue released in 1990?
I'd pick the Pixies' Cactus "A letter in your writing doesn't mean you're not dead" It is an emotional song with skepticism and longing behind a driving beat.
It's 80s enough!
