What minor inconvenience do you pay to avoid?
Me: Haircuts, because using a trimmer sucks and I don't want the Jason Statham look.

Movers. I don't move once a year like I used to, but I learned my lesson. Have everything packed into boxes before they arrive and let them deal with transporting heavy objects and furniture through doors and around stairs. Worth every penny.
I was going to say just that! Glad I read the comments first. Anyway, after I threw my back moving a 10 thousand pound piano I decided that moving isn't for me. Free case of beer or not.
Air-conditioning. Being sweaty all the time really blows, and I tend to think and work better when I'm cool. Worth the extra electricity cost!
Early check-in and first dibs on seats. It usually costs 10 bucks but improves my flying experience significantly.
Breath mints, because bad breath is bad.

I will more quickly pay higher prices to go to a nearer store/store on the way home with the same stuff than a store five miles away/slightly less on the way home with lower prices. It saves gas anyways!
Waiting in line at the ferry. Nothing worse than showing up and 'TWO SAILING WAIT'; ugh, now I have to sit in my car for 4 hours. Rather just pay the reservation fee and show up at a much more reasonable 30 minutes before.
Going through customs. Having a Nexus card means driving into Canada takes way less time than it normally would. Also, it's only $50 for 5 years!
