In a similar vein, solitude (not the city in skyrim...being alone...away from everyone) can be a wonderful experience.

I drive the entire way to work and back in complete silence on most days, it's where I get most of my thoughts collected and sorted out, and the drive is truly serene, too much noise takes away from the beauty of the view sometimes.

Took us more than a year to find a view house that's also in an unusual 'sound shadow'. A short way above or below us the valley noise comes through load and clear but it's nice and quiet where we are. There wasn't a purchase price premium because few people value quiet.
