What are your favorite YouTube channels?
It seems like all radio streaming sites are blocked at my work so I'm looking for some sort of entertainment for the boring parts of the day. YouTube is not blocked and I know one can get lost in YouTube. So I'm just looking for some good channels, nothing specific really just let me know what you suggest. Also if you know of any radio/music streaming sites that I can possibly try I'd love to hear them.

Here are some of my favorites:
Auralnauts: Clever and hilarious mash-ups, and remixed media goodness.
AngryCentaurGaming: A great video game channel, featuring articulate, and detailed reviews and opinion (console and PC).
boogie2988: What can I say about Boogie... He's a great guy, who offers some incredibly insightful, and inspiring opinions on life, gaming, media, etc.
CaptainDisillusion: "In a world where the content of digital images and videos can no longer be taken at face value, an unlikely hero fights for the acceptance of truth. Captain Disillusion guides children of all ages through the maze of visual fakery to the open spaces of reality and peace of mind. Subscribe to get fun and detailed explanations of current "unbelievable" viral videos that fool the masses!" -The Official Description
CorridorDigital: If you're not familiar with these fellas, you'll definitely recognize some of their work. Indie filmmakers focused on actiony, effects heavy, game inspired content. They do some incredible (and incredibly entertaining) stuff.
DisneyShorts: Shockingly good Disney shorts.
Infinite Solutions: This channel is dead, but should still be remembered for offering the very best in technical "solutions". Definitely check their stuff out.
juliansmith87: A hilarious, and off-the-wall scetch comedy channel.
LinusTechTips: In terms of PC related youtube channels Linus and his pals set the standard IMO.
NewRetroWave: Here's a great channel to discover some fantastic music, in a genre that deserves more attention.
On Cinema: Because film criticism needs a bit more Tim Heidecker.
Pete Holmes: Pete's probably my favorite standup comic. His channel features more sketches than standup, and they're mostly all hilarious, and very clever.
Tested: Man Tested is wonderful for a number of reasons. Norman and Wil (and Adam Savage too) share their insightful opinions, reviews, and helpful information relating to geeky, techy, and just plain intere...
... Read FullQuick question about Boogie: I've always gotten the impression that he plays a character and that he's not as short-tempered and prone to anger IRL as his videos make him out to be (I've seen that MTG video where he flips the table and a Minecraft video where he gets griefed). Is this true, or not?
That is his character 'Francis'. It is an act, he is not actually like that.
Looks like I will be busy at work, thanks!
looks like we have similar taste in youtube channels. if you don't already check them out, scishow, vsauce, and crash course are excellent.
I don't browse Youtube a lot, but when I want to see some good stuff I watch:
* 331Erock - some very nice guitar covers.
* Meytal Cohen - Pretty girl, drums, metal music. What else is there?
Thanks, I just watched a Tool cover from the Meytal Cohen channel and it was really good.
Yeah, she's really good. It might be easy to dismiss her since she's attractive but she's a really good artist in her own right. I'm not a drummer, but admire the amount of work she's put into everything.
Going through her channel I was thinking about the time and dedication she has put into learning all of those songs, its amazing.
My current favorites are: Vinesauce and Vsauce (very in-common names!)
Russel Brand’s The Trews
i've only watched a single episode but it was enough to turn me off of that channel. it just seemed a little... i don't know if this is the word i'm searching for... but pretentious. don't get me wrong, i really like russel brand but just could not stand that show.
I hear that all the time!

Chris Stuckmann
Every Frame a Painting
Those are some great suggestions. I wanted to add that Chris Stuckmann's reviews really are fantastic. I'm sure my opinion is heavily based on the fact that he and I seem to have near identical tastes, and opinions. Beyond that though, his reviews aren't excessively long, or annoyingly short. He's great about not including spoilers. Though he does give a brief plot synopsis for the movie, which some may want to avoid depending on how little you want to know about the plot of an anticipated film. Though it's never anything beyond what you'd find on the film's IMDb page. These days I like knowing as little about a movie as possible (just enough to gain my interest), but if I'm on the fence I'll check out Stuckmann's review, and know I'll likely feel the same way.
Every Frame a Painting is an absolutely rad channel as well. His stuff makes me feel smart, and dumb at the same time. It's a very synergistic combination!
Heres my 2 cents:
CGP Gray - Entertainingly informative vids about random things.
Kirsten Dirksen - Tiny homes and self-sufficiency.
Zach Anner - Awesomely fun dude and his adventures (he also has cerebral palsy).
RedLetterMedia - Movie and game reviews. If you have not seen the Plinkett Reviews yet, do yourself a favour.
Maddox - The Best Show in the Universe - Maddox has opinions about things.
Ballistic BBQ - I want to eat everything this man cooks....
No love for Idea Channel? I really like their videos, they're really entertaining and sometimes teach me things.
tedbarrus
BroScienceLife
skunkpaste
Not an extremely well-known channel, but you may have seen his infamous "Fuck you fedoras own hard" video that many people assumed was real. It is just some guy making very bizarre and surreal videos making fun of the kind of content you find on YouTube. Sometimes it hurts to laugh watching some of them. Sometimes you just watch them and feel very confused.
MKBHD. Great Tech reviews.
Penguinz0, filthy frank
The Great War -A week by week analysis of World War 1 and more! Simlpy amazing.
I will also have to check this out.
I heard about that one and thought it was an amazing idea. I'll have to check it out
Ashens - He is a British man that reviews various gadgets. Very funny.
Can't believe Seananners isn't here.
