Who runs Snapzu?

Is there a company or group of users behind Snapzu? Which users are the founders? Maybe there should be a section on the history of Snapzu to help people get a feel for the origin of the site.

Yeah, would be cool to have some users from the developing team here at the community, with a badge on their nicknames so we know they're from snapzu.

Hi Slyken, our team holds a strong belief that all users (even team members) should not be treated any differently from one another by using badges/trinkets. In the near future we do have plans to select a small number of active and dedicated members to help us with management by taking the role of general administrator. We are keeping our eyes peeled for deserving users that we feel can fit that role. If anyone has any suggestions, please take the time to private message our account.

Though all members should be treated equally, I don't think giving titles is inequality. I say this because I think that having members that have that team member badge on their names actually feels more equal than just having one "official" account. With team members among us, its feels like they don't feel like they are better than us. That they are just people like us. Its the same thing with reddit AMAs. They are just casually talking with some celebrities and its awesome. Now with some official account, it feels like they are too good to talk to us. I know that is not the case, but the feeling of separation is still there. (Sorry if I misunderstood you).

You make a good point, but we assure you it is not the case. We appreciate all of you, and feel that by keeping everything officially under one account will make it easier to manage our day to day operations. It also assures that we avoid mistakes and miscommunication. We promise that as we expand, we will appoint additional administrators that will have "red" usernames (for easy recognition) so that they may help represent the Snapzu leadership. We are approaching these matters carefully, and wish to involve all of you in this decision making process, so your feedback is very much appreciated!

Nice, that's what I was saying before with the badge thing.

Thanks for the reply, I definitely understand you and agree that users should be all treated as equal, thats what a community is all about. That's a great idea, there's already a bunch of users that know a lot about the platform and making them part of the team would be a huge step on managing the community. I'm glad you're working on so many improvements for the website and I can't wait to see them.

Yes, but I think we need more interaction with the team.

I thought that was what the lounge was going to be about but it's kinda turning into a free-for-all playground of topics. I'm disappointed that its focus isn't more narrowly tailored.

BTW... what happened to your other avatar? I liked it.

Hi Sysadmin, we know this might not be what you imagined when you mentioned a central place for us to meet and discuss Snapzu related topics, but we felt this would be a good solution given our current situation. Please note that as this service evolves and grows we will continue to make changes that we feel will be beneficial to everyone. What may seem like one big area now will later evolve into smaller more partitioned tribes as our userbase increases!

I don't know, the pixel-lover in me decided to change it. I might change it back to Psyduck again, only time will tell. And about the topic, yes, I thought the lounge was like a bunch of members of the snapzu team answering questions about the website, and until I saw this post I thought you were the founder/admin of snapzu to be honest. Now I'll just treat you like garbage like everyone else, just kidding tho, you're cool.

Yeah I'm a system administrator (not for snapzu) that's why I chose this name and it didn't occur to me that my name might confuse people when I created it. You aren't the first person to make the mistake. But I've invested too much time in this account to start over so I guess I'll keep it. /u/teamsnapzu is the account for the site owners/administrators.

Fine... treat me like garbage... MY MOM STILL LOVES ME!

So one day as I was browsing through the internet I saw a testimony on how this great man called Dr Ariba help a girl called amanda cure her HIV AIDS, this was really terrible, as i rush to quickly contact him for a cure, as i contact him and he told me not to worry that he will help me, that I should give him two days to cast the spell with his oracle {spirits} to tell him what to do, he later told me on what items and materials i am to buy over here in my country, i purchase them, so after two days he call Me to go for a test and I go for the test and I was now hiv negative I’m very happy now that I’m hiv negative I’m thankful to Dr Ariba for helping.
