Seconded for MAS*H. Now I can re-watch it whenever I want on Netflix. Except for a finale...oh and the episodes are out of order. (Netflix has them in production order, instead of broadcast order) It's weird seeing Radar around after the episode where he left.

That is weird. I remember when it was on TV Land, they pretty much played 4 episodes a day in broadcast order. I used to come home from school and watch it at 4:00. I wasn't very popular, coincidentally. :P

Now, I pretty much just watch the movie if I get a craving. It's much funnier, less clowny. But, there's no denying that it was one of the greatest TV comedies ever. Nothing really came close to it until Seinfeld.

I'm a sucker for re-watching Friends and Scrubs at least once every 1-3 years.

There was a brilliant Sitcom in the mid 90s called Newsradio. Phil Hartman, Joe Rogan, Dave Foley, Stephen Root and some other awesome talent was on there. It was fairly well received critically but never really brought in the ratings so they were constantly living in fear of being cancelled so for their third and fourth season finale they did a Newsradio in Space and a Newsradio as the Titanic episode respectively which ended with pretty much everyone dying.

It had some strong absurdist elements, dry humor and was all around amazing. One of my favorite shows of all time.

If that's not old enough, Kolchak the Night Stalker. It was a paranormal investigation show in the mid 70s. It's incredibly cheesy at times, but what makes it fun is that it came out at around the time the Watergate scandal was breaking and investigative journalists were pretty much regarded as heroes. So Kolchak is a plucky investigative reporter who keeps inadvertently stumbling into these paranormal happenstances. Very fun, if you're into that kind of thing.

How old are we talking here? If we're talking really old, there's Old Doctor Who, and Star Trek the original series. If series that are starting to get old are okay, then I really liked Keenan and Kel.

I'll skip the obvious choices you're likely to get:

The Dick Van Dyke Show - my God, Mary Tyler Moore was hot.

The Mary Tyler Moore Show - think Anchorman but actually in the 70s, also Mary Tyler Moore

The Honeymooners - Jackie Gleason was a comic genius.

I Spy - Mission Impossible with a sense of humor.

Mission Impossible - who needs humor when you're a team of bad ass grifters?

Probably not considered old, but definitely not airing anymore - Boston Legal

I mean, who doesn't wanna see William Shatner yelling "Denny Crane" and then finding ways to shoot guns?

Bonus - Treat the show as a prequel to The Blacklist.

As a lot of people I really liked Stargate SG1. Friends is nice to rewatch from time to time.
