Overlays that makes it impossible to read the web page I arrived at & read thus: "Sign up for our newsletter.", or "Like us on Facebook!"..Or, a big sign that says:"Cause you landed on our page you agree to whatever we want." Uh, no. Part of Facebook (I'm not a member) blocked off by an overlay that says:"Sign up or sign in." Nope there too. Or "Turn off your adblocker!" Yeah, like that's going to happen.

I either block the elements using Ublock, or pop open my Firefox reader, which bypasses the annoyance. I have Firefox set up to block third party stuff and as i said, I use Ublock origin. so I don't have to be so annoyed I simply can't stay on the page I wanted to read...And black themes....Yeah,I hate black themes.

I usually can't be bothered to figure out how to get around most of those banners. If there's no obvious "x" button, I just leave the page.

It's actually really easy. On Chrome you just use inspect, and mouse over the html of the popover. Deleting that HTML will remove the popover and leave the rest of the page intact.
