There's a Lenovo Thinkpad I use sometimes whose native display resolution, regardless of browser magnification, seems to've permanently scared off the snap image cropping button. Maybe it's the Windows OS GUI magnification?
Using the crop tools in Ipad is impossible due to the way "touch functionality" is setup, and it's too complex of an issue at this time to try and put together new functionality so that it is compatible with mobile. However having said that, if you do have an example of a service (website) that allows you to properly and easily crop images via mobile devices (ipad, iphone, etc), please let me know and I will look into possibly adding the functionality into our upcoming updates dependent of course on the level of complexity.
As for the inability to remove snaps within your own tribes, this functionality IS available and I have no idea why you cannot see the trash icon, please send me a screenshot from your ipad so that I can have a look.
Edit: Took a look, strange that the delete button is missing. Here is a screenshot of the /t/futurism tribe being viewed in the mobile layout and the delete buttons show up, no matter the width of the window.
We are planning to correct a number of bugs associated with viewfinder settings, as well as a list of other fixes / improvements in a batch release sometime next week.
Can you give me a bit more details on whats happening? Link me to a screenshot? We did a minor update this morning, however nothing in regards to the Submit button.
No recent changes were applied to the Snap It! toolbar button, we did however update it to use new javascript a couple of months ago. Please try removing the old Snap It! button and re-apply a new one from your Posts area.
Certain pages actively go out of their way to block any sort of javascript used in bookmarklet type functionality. There is no way around it unfortunately. Other timeout issues may be caused by connection problems, we spent a considerable amount of time going over the bookmarklet functionality not too long ago, and have greatly reduced the amount of time outs. If you can send me some link examples for me that are causing you issues, I will be more than happy to test those out and see what can be done.
How about now? Is there still a slowdown? Every time we do a batch update, many things need to be re-cached and the process can last for about 2 hours. During this time, certain operations can take a bit longer.
