I also work in IT in Helpdesk/Desktop Support/Systems Administration (depending on what the next contract requires). I'm getting really, really tired of dealing with user problems although I still enjoy tackling interesting problems and working out solutions. I'm always looking for more excuses to find a scripting solution to a common problem.
IT Tech here too (2nd level with some networking). While some individual problems and people can get me pissed off from time to time I still manage to really enjoy it. I think a lot of it really matters if you have a team you get on with around you. We're like family in this office (we even have a grumpy granddad).
